My sixth novel, Center of the Storm, has been released by Musa Publishing under their Euterpe's imprint.

This novel is a bit of a departure from my usual style and genre. It deals with foster family relationships and teenage self-abuse (in the form of "cutting").

Guess what? I have a second publisher! That's right, Musa Publishing is releasing my latest novel, Center of the Storm, under their Euterpe's imprint. I'm so excited! The release date is set for Feb 17 2012, and I hope you will be there to celebrate it with me.

Here's the tagline and back cover blurb to whet your appetite:

Facing the things you run from can either release you, or snap the fragile tether that keeps you grounded in the Center of the Storm.

Abandonment, neglect, drugs and a little blood letting - Dodge Landry and his fifteen-year-old adopted son, Chris have a lot in common. But while Dodge only narrowly survived his childhood, Chris may not.

Navigating the murky waters of the foster care system in the mid-1970's, Dodge hit the mother load when he is sent to live with Kate Landry on her small Pennsylvania horse farm. Through her functionally dysfunctional family, and with the help of an abused mess of a horse named Storm, Kate shows Dodge no one needs to be perfect to be worthy of love. It is a lesson Dodge desperately wants to share with Chris. The problem is, Chris isn't interested in listening, and Dodge fears his adopted son is headed down the same road Dodge once walked...suicide.

My very good friends, Suki Michele and Carlyle Clark, have their debut novel scheduled for release on Oct. 17, 2011. It is called The Apocalypse Gene, and it is an exciting, fast-paced, "spikin' cool" vision of the future.

Here's a link to their website, The Apocalypse Gene, which was designed by my very own webmaster, Dale Rhodes (he's "spikin' cool," too)

Plus, they have a book trailer video just released that is so hot, I had to embed it here. Check it out!

A release date for the paperback edition of my Thriller/Sci-Fi novel, Keeper of the Dream, has been set for Sept. 1, 2011. Wahoo! I can hardly wait to start signing copies for my fans.

Speaking of fans and signing copies, I am having a book signing at the Barnes and Noble in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. at the Arena Hub Plaza for both Socrates's Child and Keeper of the Dream on September 10th at 2 pm - be there!

Keeper of the Dream, my newest Thriller/Sci-Fi novel, has now been released in electronic format. It is available from Amazon.com A release date hasn't been set for the print version, but it shouldn't be too much longer.

Here's another great review from Sizzling Hot Reviews:

Keeper of the Dream is a tautly written story. I found it to be an engrossing read that kept me up late into the night. I couldn’t put it down and when I did, I kept thinking about the plot. Will they be able to prevent World War III? Will they be able to kill both the current and future Mathais? Will they prevent Calley’s rape? Will Derry and Kyla have a future together? And who is Keeper of the Dream?

At the end of Keeper of the Dream the author writes a short note. In it she explains that Keeper of the Dream was orginally written when she was seventeen. While she revised it before publishing, it is interesting how young she was when she wrote the first draft. Ann Simko is an incredible author.

I received a Five-Star review for Keeper of the Dream, my newest Thriller/Sci-Fi novel, which is now scheduled for digital release on June 6, 2011. A release date hasn't been set for the print version, but it shouldn't be too much later.

Here's the review from Ghost Writer Reviews:

Thirty-five years into the future, the world is a nightmare following a devastating war. Brothers Derry and Taylor Brandon stumble upon the chance to alter the events that nearly ended humanity. Arriving back in time, two weeks before the event that caused the destruction, they enlist the help of brother and sister Kayla and Chris O’shea. They devise a simple plan to save the world, even if it erases their own existence. Their plan, track down a father that hasn’t conceived them yet and convince him of who they are and that he was partly responsible for destroying the world as he knows it. Simple plan? Along the way they must confront the man who has plagued them in their own time--and now in the past, if they can meet head-on their personal demons along the way.

Outstanding, that’s the feeling I had after finishing Keeper of the Dream. This is one of the better time travel thrillers I’ve read in a long time. The characters are first rate, the ones coming from the future as well as those in the current time. The book has a very satisfying plot, the dialog is very good and moves the story along at a rapid pace. If you like a good, well-written sci-fi time travel story, you can’t go wrong here.
